It did not start well..People on reception were busy on their mobile phones...Not sure whether to give us free parking for the bike... However their colleagues more than made up for them.Prussia,Mary and sara all made the stay a lovely one. The room was a great size,good facilities and air conditioning. we had a really good night's sleep. The Hotel is in the centre and next to the bridge museum for war history buffs. Good value on and a fabulous breakfast

This hotel was excellent, close by the famous Arnhem bridge and the small associated museum. It was also close to shops and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was very good and there was a well stocked bar. Would definitely recommend it and stay there again

Great hotel for a stay in Arnhem.

Great hotel for an overnight stay, by the river and close to the city centre. Car park was a little hard to find as Google maps directed us to the front - car park entrance is at the side and accessed from the rear off Arien Vierhoeffstraat.

Was a good hotel

The hotel was overall very pleasant and convenient to eating locations and some of the attractions of Arnhem. We walked there easily from the train station but taking a taxi probably would have been more prudent. The hotel was extremely well located for one night stay as it is about 5 minutes from our river cruise dock location.

Best staff ever

The Bastion is located in town, almost next to the John Frost Bridge and the Catherdral and about 10 mintues walk to the station. The staff were always really helpful and friendly. We had a great room with lots of space at the rear of the property and it was very quiet. I'd definitely recommend for a handy stay.

Breakfast was excellent! Staff was very friendly and helpful and the place itself was nice in general.
