Liked having washing machine, but I can read Japanese. Appliances (bath tub, air con, washer) might prove baffling if you can't read Japanese

Might be hard to use air conditioner, bath (hot water boiler controls) and washing machine if you do not read Japanese. Front desk people speak native Chinese and very good Japanese; I'm not sure about their English.

小さめだけど綺麗で設備良かった

It felt very secure and private.

元実家にも近く、駅にも近いので便利が良かったです。また京都に帰省する際は利用したいと思います。

Very comfortable and spacious

リーズナブルな価格設定にもかかわらず、洗濯機、浴室乾燥機、電子レンジ、キッチン、食器、ポットなど、設備が充実していて、とてもとても居心地がよかったです。 次もまた青楓ハウスさんを利用したいです。

This is a B and B (no breakfast) located in an interesting area in Kyoto, Saiin. The town is packed with bars and restaurants and local people looked a little rough compared to other areas in Kyoto, but we stayed safe with no safety or noise issue nonetheless. Saiin is a Hankyu and Randen station and is very convenient to go to Kawaramachi, Arashiyama, and Osaka without changing trains. We also had a day trip to Kobe for Kobe beef during our stay. A big supermarket (Aeon Mall) is in a walking distance, and we brought back bento boxes often times. We didn't attempt to cook as there was not kitchen counter. Cleanliness was subpar and they didn't clean the room during our stay, although we could have requested. We borrowed a vacuum, cleaned the room and bathroom, and changed towels and sheets ourselves. Amenities and furniture are minimal, and I wish they provided a bigger table and more chairs. A coffee table and two small chairs are all the furniture we got, pretty much. A washing machine and a bathroom drier were really useful for daily washing.

Clean, comfortable and convenient. This is very nice guest house for anyone traveling through Kyoto. This is not a hotel so there are no shared amenities or facilities, it's like having your own little apartment. Nicely appointed with thoughtful touches.
