Overall the hotel was quite old; the experience wasn't the worst but didn't live up its four-star nor its price. The biggest problem was the bathroom. The bathtub had a bath screen that doesn't seal at the bottom, so water would leak all over the place every time we showered even when we turned the shower head all the way in. To make the matter worse, the bathroom floor was wood, and the water would leak from the bathroom into the living room. The whole experience was a nightmare. The double/twin superior room was simply two twin beds put next to each other, and had a huge gap in between which made sharing a bed a terrible experience. Lastly, the staff who helped with checked out wasn't very professional. He couldn't find the right reservation when we told him the room number for check out, and he had a whole episode of confusion trying to look for the right person. When we asked to leave our luggage with the hotel after we checked out, the staff brought out stickers that don't peel cleanly and would leave spots when we removed them afterward. We've never seen a four star hotel use stickers to tag luggage, it would've always been tags with strings.

Great hotel, very friendly staff, 4 minute walk from the train station, awesome breakfast.

We absolutely loved this hotel on the canal; we stayed 3 nights. The room was perfect and just a short walk from the train station. The outdoor restaurant was so beautiful with the flowers and was right on the water. It really was perfect for our first visit to Venice. Perfect for walks and shopping. Plenty of shops and outdoor restaurants to choose from. Would stay here again. I enjoyed opening the windows and watching the canal boats come and go it was a dream. The food and staff were excellent!

I thought I had chosen in front of the canal, but my view was another.

Room smell was musty, and the layout of the hotel was like a maze, very nice and helpful staff, and breakfast was good too but i wouldn't call it 4 star because of the rooms. The water would also stop in the middle of brushing your teeth or washing your face. There were also a lot of dead squashed flies on the walls.

Great location, Walking distance to everything canal front restaurant was delicious and affordable Should be a 4 star hotel Good value for location

Good, clean, air conditioned room. Helpful staff and lovely buffet style breakfast with a view.

Foe that price , it is below my expectations May be is the season and occasion.

Well maintained hotel in the canal. Outstanding breakfast overlooking the canal. Other seating areas on the canal and a large bar. Surrounded by great shopping and walkable to St. Mark’s. Bathrooms are tiny but…everything else is perfect!
