Fantastic location, room was in great shape

The location of this hotel is perfect. It’s close to Amsterdam central and everything in that area. It felt very safe and the staff was helpful and kind. The room was in great condition. Very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I also received daily housekeeping. They offer luggage storage which was very helpful. The only negative thing was that there wasn’t an elevator. So be prepared to carry your luggage up very steep stairs. Other than that, I highly recommend.

The staff were helpful and room was clean, the room was very compact and minimal so good for short stays and solo travel. Can't get away from the steep stairs which to be fair is quite common in Amsterdam.

Friendly & helpful when we arrived and for our stay ..carried our luggage .. Very good small hotel with everything you would need .. beware there are many stairs & no lift .. very central to everything .. would stay here again on lower floor

Pay attention to the details of the listing. The rooms are incredibly small, even by European standards. We had to take turns opening our luggage on the bed in order to reach our belongings. No space to do anything. The stairs are narrow and steep and no elevator. The toilet seat in our bathroom was broken and would not open all the way. The staff was helpful, but they cant make up for the property deficiencies.

1st -The location is great. No problems there. Perfect for a back packer. 2nd -We knew going in that the stairs were pretty much vertical. That's fine, old buildings. Europe. 3rd -The room was SO SMALL. Awkward. We booked a double bed with a private bathroom. The bathroom was even smaller. You could lay your head on the sink from the toilet. Kind of like an RV. To wash your face, you had to have your body pushing open the door while it hit the bed. Comical. Not really a great place for 2 adults. The bed wasn't very comfy. The window view is a concrete wall with a bit of light coming in. Staff was ok. No amenities. Coffee maker would not fit in this place. Great bakery's in the area! Perfect starting point. Close to everything & the main train station.

Location and staff were excellent. My only complaint was the toilet seat was broken.
