While the hotel was "grand" my initial reaction upon entering was the overwhelming pumped in fragrance; it was too heavy a scent (I couldn't escape it). The check in staff was helpful and friendly as was the lobby bartender / barista. Marwan the concierge really stepped up when we needed to arrange for car service to the airport. But besides that, the staff didn't possess the warmth and charm we've come to expect in Cairo. The wait staff at the pool presented as uninterested in providing service. The pool is spectacular as is the gym - but given the gym is 24-hour access - we were shocked and disappointed to arrive to no water in the display dispensers on one morning workout, There were used cups and towels strewn on the counters and floors. Finally - the hotel room bathroom is not well laid out at all - no counter space and only one hook. We also had to report/complain about our concern regarding the rain shower head appearing to be loose (worried about it falling). The ATMS were malfunctioning and the gift shops were less than I would expect in a St. Regis. I don't feel the particular location lives up to the brand, service and quality I've seen at other St. Regis locations. I would likely NOT return to this specific St. Regis...especially with the new Four Seasons opening up in Madinaty.

St, Regis New Capital Cairo is one of the most beautiful and relaxing hotels we stayed at as a family. I was there two years ago and we decided to come back as a family this year. The hotel is very clean, spacious, and well maintained.
The staff is superior, they are ready to help and answer questions/needs in no time. Special thanks to Rougina Makram, the head of the reception staff and her dedicated and professional team. She was very helpful accommodating our request for the rooms that suites our need as a family.
The rooms are very spacious and lovely with lots of amenities. Beds are very comfortable. Washrooms are spacious and clean.
We enjoyed both the outdoor and indoor swimming pools. The gym is amazing.
Open buffet breakfast was beyond excellent with variety of plentiful food options. I think it is one of the best in the tens of Marriot group hotels that I have stayed at globally.
Dinner at the Italian restaurant was excellent.
I would give St. Regis hotel 10 out of 10 as an amazing hotel, its superior staff and excellent service. They are the best in professional and high quality hospitality, Again, one of the best globally, (we travel to over 30 countries globally, and we can't wait to come back to St. Regis and to Egypt.

Very spiffy place. I was upgraded to a marvelous suite. Nice food variety in their 3 restaurants. Service was exceptional

最高 Great staff and infrastructure. Tucked away from the city noise. Like an oasis in the desert. Spacious hotel grounds, perfect for post dinner walk. The italian restaurant is exquisite. Pools are great.
I highlight the staff professionalism and responsiveness one more time. Keep up the great work and ambiance.
