wad there in June. 2026. there were a couple problems with our first room. understandable considering they had just recently reopened after being closed due to the fire at the Glasgow train station. The AC didn't work and the bathroom had hot water running from both tabs. What was amazing is how they handled it. initially we were just in a standard King room. I believe the gentleman's name was Mossad that came up. He was very apologetic and friendly. he couldn't get the AC working. A few minutes later. both him and the hotel manager came up and helped us move into a beautiful suite. they also gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. things like this do happen at hotels. But it's how they deal with it. that is important. And the staff was absolutely fantastic all the way around. breakfast in the morning was also terrific. it was a huge buffet with a massive selection. what a perfect way to start the day. It's an absolutely beautiful well-maintained historic Hotel.

Our visit was for a celebration, and we told the staff this. They gave us a drink coupon and later when our tv wouldn’t connect to our mobile phone, they provided us with alternative options to listen to music. However when this also failed, they moved us to another room and gave us a bottle of red. Staff are just so wonderful and the property itself is beautiful.

Breakfast was good staff were friendly and helpful. Only thing that could have been better was some biscuits in the room.

Brilliant room. We had the standard twin and what a great size it was - so much space. Location perfect - would definitely stay here again!

Only in for the night but booking in was quick. Friendly, polite and couteous staff both cleaners and reception. Room was clean and comfortable. A home away from home.

The hotel is excellent. Very clean and well maintained. I also like the classic feel. Old fashioned in a good way. Spacious room and the champagne bar is excellent

Great size room, comfortable bed. Nice & quiet. Always a lovely smell when you enter the hotel reception.

Had such a lovely stay - was upgraded to a beautiful suite . I have been very ill and only just able to travel again and they left me a beautiful hand written card along with Prosecco and a little teddy . They went above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect stay . All the staff were so friendly and helpful . The champagne bar is lovely and the location is very central . It will 100% be our only go to whilst in Glasgow . It has only just reopened due to the devastating fire along the street - she was luckily saved !
