My stay at Tau House in Guatapé, Colombia was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, Santiago, the General Manager, and his incredible team made me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. What truly sets Tau House apart is the personalized service. The staff also goes above and beyond to help arrange excursions, transportation, airport pickups and drop-offs, making your stay completely stress-free. Tau House is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for warm and relaxing vacation. My husband and I had an amazing time here. We spent 5 days, and we wished we could've extended our stay. This is the first vacation where we truly felt relaxed and rejuvenated. The decor of Tau House is warm and inviting. The color scheme aids in providing a relaxing environment. Our bedroom was so clean and spacious. I love that the king size bed is actually a king size bed and not two beds pushed together. The closet area of the clothes is more than enough to hang everything up. The special touch of providing robes and slippers really made me fall in love with this place from the start. The food is exceptional! We opted to have most of our meals here because they were that good. Complimentary breakfast was delicious and they offered a healthy menu that allowed for my husband and I to stay on track. All the meals are balanced between carbs, fats and proteins. We ate dinner here most nights, and it was so nice to be able to enjoy a quiet evening and then go to our room. The staff is absolutely amazing. They were beyond welcoming and accommodating. Everyone was so friendly. They offered us so many different things to do around Medellin and Guatape. We cannot wait to come back!

This was an excellent hotel to stay in the way the hotel was situated near the water the lovely scenery it had was just so relaxing to enjoy. The staff was so attentive to all of our needs , food was well prepared and the Waite staff was always there to help. I want to take this highlight the Manager Santiago for all his help is knowledge of the area and most of all how he treated us during our stay. I recommend that his hotel to all that stay in Guatapé. The manager at Tau House , Santiago was very warm and welcoming and very helpful in making my husband’s birthday very special . All the staff was great ! We spent the morning Kayaking and we also used their jacuzzi. Thank you Santiago for taking care of us! Ruby

We loved our stay here beautiful hotel lovely views over the lake The staff here are amazing especially Santiago who was so helpful and looked after us We had welcome drinks which was a nice touch Breakfast was amazing you have a choice of a few items really lovely We ate at the restaurant one evening was great and the service was amazing Our room was fantastic and had a terrace looking over the lake Very clean room great shower We would definitely recommend this hotel it is only a tuk tuk ride away from The rock and the colourful town the hotel will call a tuk tuk for you Love to come back one day Wish we could have stayed longer when we left we were given chocolates as a thank you for staying there nice touch

This hotel rose above my expectations. The staff is extremely friendly, the service is exceptional, & the room was very clean and spacious. The view from this hotel was beautiful. The cook to order free breakfast was exceptional. The dinner service was exceptional with reasonable prices. I booked a massage and I would do it again, I appreciated that I was able to book that service very last minute. The hot tub was delightful at the end of the night. Overall I would stay here again but for more time.

Staff superb. They are very accomodating. Love the firepit and hottub at night. Very beautiful okace, the best in the area.
