Its was really good. But the airstreamers could use a bit of maintenance.

A fabulous made-to-order breakfast to start the day right at the Grand Daddy Hotel is one of the many sweet reasons why this is my go-to boutique hotel in Cape Town's CBD.

One has to pay R100 for parking a car as parking is paid. Hotel provides to Shaving or Dental kit.

It was a little tough showering in the airstream, but we booked it for the experience, not for the luxury. The overall hotel was really nice though. The rooftop was nice, although the bar wasn’t open. The area was a little sketchy at night, so I would rely on a cab if you are returning late at night.

Loved the breakfast option. The staff were very kind, respectful and friendly. House keeping service was great. The building is close to many hot spots in capetown and getting to places was easy

Conveniently located by shops and restaurants/ bars on Long Street, this hotel is clean and really nicely decorated. The breakfast was delicious, the beds super comfy, the bathrooms modern, and the rooms nice and quiet. What really stood out was how thoughtful and helpful the staff were — especially at the front desk. I've stayed here a couple of times now and can't wait to come back next year.

This is a boutique hotel with character. If you need everything totally modern, it might not be for you but I enjoyed it. The room was clean and cozy with no odors. Heath wise, I just did not like the dark carpet in the room. I kept shoes on at all times. They need to upgrade to laminate flooring. The old time elevator was a treat. Breakfast was fantastic. The area is great for walking. I’d stay there again.
