Beautiful setting.

Great beautiful place

We have been coming to this property since our honeymoon 37 years ago. Very disappointed this year that the outdoor bar and grill is now 'garden' style where you have to go to the counter and order your own food and drinks. No more servers waiting on us. Even though we had to go up to put our orders in, the bar area was understaffed. The Loft was closed when we were there, the Chophouse was not open Sunday evening, the water park was closed. The rooms were clean. Of course, the location is perfect! We rented a pontoon and the guy at the marina was very helpful. The pontoon did have some of the canopy broken but it worked ok. We used both pools which were nice. We swam at the beach....watch out for the geese! Lots of goose droppings but no staff to clean it up. Some garbage was on the grounds below our room and no one cleaned it up the entire time we were there. Whole place seemed understaffed.

I would not recommend this resort for an event. We had our daughter’s wedding here and from the beginning it was rough. Communication was lacking between the event coordinators and my daughter. There were items that were specific to her choosing this facility, like using the water park for the grooms dinner, which they were not told it was closed down. To many other details that were overlooked. The hotel rooms were dirty, ac didn’t work, bedding was not clean, there was a bandaid stuck to our dresser and over all run down. We also had a quest get stuck in the elevator. I will however give credit where credit is due, the two people we worked with that serviced our wedding, Katie and another gentleman were amazing. They did everything to make it a day to remember despite all of the negative working up to that day. Overall it was very disappointing.

Arrowwood is always a clean, comfortable place to stay, and close to a number of things to do. Minor issues were the whirlpool was not working well, and the poolside bar was out of a number of items, as was the chophouse restaurant. Seems someone dropped the ball with supply ordering and maintenance

Staff was incredible. Super disappointed that hot tub was barely luke warm. Ice machine out of order. Property is pretty run down compared to stays just a few years ago.

Ice machines all broken, patio doors didn’t lock, pool dingy, hot tub cold and jets not working, old and not a well maintained hotel. The space in the rooms is nice but definitely could use an upgrade

From the second I arrived at Arrowwood Luxury Resort in Alexandria, Minnesota, the service was absolutely first-class. I was welcomed by the concierge with a fresh margarita and cookies, and immediately felt like a valued guest. The bellman, George, was unbelievable. He took care of all my luggage with professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail. To my surprise, I was upgraded to the Presidential Suite, and it was nothing short of stunning. The suite was over 2,000 square feet with incredible floor-to-ceiling views of the forest, the lake, beautiful white-tailed deer outside, and families enjoying the beach. It was one of the most peaceful and beautiful views I have ever experienced. When I entered the room, there were fresh chocolates, bottles of Pellegrino, and 12 beautiful white roses with a note thanking me for being a valued guest. The room itself was immaculate, with luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets, a calming eucalyptus and vanilla scent, and every detail perfectly prepared. The valet, doorman, concierge, butler, George, and Cindy at the front desk all delivered world-class service. I cannot thank them enough for making the stay feel so special. Room service was equally impressive. I ordered the 60-ounce tomahawk ribeye, and it was cooked beautifully, paired perfectly with a nice wine and sweet potatoes. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. This resort has so much fun activities and spots to hang out. I would definitely recommend.
