I absolutely loved this property and the Amenities. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great spa, laundry and room services. The pool on rooftop with 360 view was beautiful.

It was a wonderful experience from the very beginning. It has a old world feel with new world vibe. It's very open, but at the same time, you feel the privacy. Very nice rooftop pool restaurant bar security checked upon you all the time staff checked on you all the time. I would highly recommend it's in the middle of everywhere. Most things in town are walking distance.

The best part of our trip was the hotel, especially the reception and restaurant staff. However, the entire team was wonderful. Thank you all for your kindness, professionalism, and for making our stay so special.

This hotel is located in a prime location, where you could walk to most things in the walled city or Getsemaní. What stood out the most about this hotel was the staff. Every evening someone would knock on the door and ask if the room meet your standards of cleanliness. On top of that, they would give you delicious fresh cookies everyday.

I enjoyed my stay, the staff was pleasant and quick to address any needs or issues. Alvaro was very helpful

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Una experiencia excepcional y un servicio verdaderamente humano Nuestra estadía en el Hotel El Bastión fue excelente de principio a fin, pero lo que realmente hizo la diferencia fue la calidad humana de todo su equipo. Durante nuestra visita me enfermé y viajaba con mi bebé. Desde el primer momento, el personal estuvo increíblemente atento y pendiente de nosotros. Tuvieron el hermoso detalle de prepararme una sopa caliente y un té de jengibre, e incluso se preocuparon por el bienestar de mi bebé. En todo momento nos hicieron sentir acompañados, cuidados y como en casa. La atención fue sumamente personalizada, cálida y genuina, algo que hoy en día es difícil de encontrar. Más allá de las instalaciones y la ubicación, que también son excelentes, lo que destaca de este hotel es su gente y su vocación de servicio. Agradezco profundamente todas las atenciones recibidas y sin duda lo recomendaría a cualquier persona que visite Cartagena. Si buscan un hotel donde realmente se preocupen por sus huéspedes, este es el lugar. ¡Muchas gracias a todo el equipo por hacer nuestra estadía tan especial!

The perfect hotel to stay over inside the walls of the historical old part of Cartagena. A hidden gem the Bastion hotel, with spacious clean rooms, good and healthy breakfast buffet, friendly staff and a beautiful rooftop with swimming pool, and the hotel offers 24/7 à la carte service. Highly recommend to stay at this great property.
