Family friendly

Very clean, staff were excellent. Rooms were very very clean.

We arrived late on Saturday night to find that the room we had been allocated was filthy, beds slept in, bins full and a large number of dead bees on the bathroom floor. To her credit, Kathleen, at the front desk did her best to sort something out, and started cleaning another room for us, however, that room only had bedding for three and we are a family of four, so we had no choice but to find other accommodation at that late hour.

Both room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Hot water was quite slow coming up which led to confusion as to which way tap settings worked, but plenty of it once it arrived. Also air con did not seem to want to blow warm air, even though set on 32 degrees. Overall a pleasant stay.

Our room was very clean. The staff at the venue were all helpful and nice. I will definitely stay at this hotel when next time in the area.

The room appeared to be recently renovated and was clean, comfortable, and quite spacious. The bathroom was also a good size, which added to the overall comfort of the stay. The carpet was in very good condition noticeably better than what I have experienced at several other hotels during my travels in Australia. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, which made for a pleasant first impression. Another big plus was the location. There were plenty of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance, and the train station was also conveniently close by, making it simple to get around. The only drawback was that the hotel is situated along a busy roadway. The walls did not seem to be fully soundproof, so traffic noise was noticeable at times. While it wasn’t a deal-breaker, it is something to be aware of if you are a light sleeper.
