Excellent location to walk to the Acropolis and Plaka neighborhood. Helpful staff. We got a room with the acropolis view. Very good breakfast as well. In general, our stay was wonderful.

Great location and very friendly staff.

Perfect location to see the Acropolis and the museum. Room was beautiful and loved see Acropolis lit up at night. They have a rooftop terrace to see the city unobstructed. They have a sister hotel that has rooftop dining but make sure to have reservations as we were sad that there was nothing available during our stay. Breakfast was wonderful and staff kept it well stocked. Staff especially Ellios (sp?) was wonderful and very knowledgeable while offering opportunities to book excursions. Loved the Personal concierge style. I am definitely booking this hotel on my return back to Athens.

The view from here to the Acropolis was phenomenal -- way better from this side than hotels on the north side of Acropolis Hill. Be aware that if you want to sleep in, you're likely to have people in other rooms getting up earlier to go see the sights nearby. Was very walkable to Acropolis, other parks, and great food.

The hotel staff was very kind and very trustworthy, location is great breakfast is also nice so in its genre it is good hotel. Will recommend it for families.

We just had a 5-night stay at the Philipose hotel. We enjoyed every bit of it. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Everything was excellent—the room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect, just a short walk from all the major attractions. We especially enjoyed the delicious Greek breakfast, which was a great start to each day. The service was excellent throughout our stay, and we would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

The Entire Staff was Amazing! Extremely friendly & helpful!!! The hotel is 2 small blocks from the Acropolis….Straight shot walk, 3-4 min Acropolis Metro stop is 1 stop away from Syntagma square where the “Changing of the Guards” takes place. Also at Syntagma is where you will find all the shopping within short walking distance of the metro. Will definitely stay again & Highly recommend!

Every time we come to Athens we stay at this hotel as it is super convenient and walking distance to Plaka and Monastiraki. It is super close the Acropole and the museum. The hotel is super clean, helpful staff and great breakfast.

Great location - the rooms are good sized and beautiful views.
