Location of the hotel is convenient for my work around the area however the room itself is not the most desirable.
The pillows provided was flat so I took the extra pillows from the cupboard and I couldn’t sleep the whole night.
My neck and my upper back was itching so bad that I threw the 2 pillows from the cupboard onto the floor.
Then I wrapped the soft pillow with towel before I could sleep.
I suspect it was dust mites from the 2 pillows in the cupboard.
For a Mercure, I find this unacceptable

The washroom is so tiny. No proper door in washroom. Washroom door can’t be fully opened as the toilet obstructs. I’m a short (5ft) and even for me the sink was really, really low. Water splashes everywhere, when tap is turned on.
