Clean budget hotel with a friendly staff conveniently located near Paddington Station. Numerous restaurant options in the neighborhood.

I cannot in good faith give the property 1 star as the price was well below par, certainly one gets what one pays for. That said, in my estimation this property could have received a 5-star review but failed in the following: (1) bed sheet was covered in lint. Not dirty per se but nonetheless off-putting. (2) TV volume unadjustable. Hearing challenged I am not, otherwise it would have been fine, but neither I nor my neighbors (I assume) appreciated the non-working volume. Had to use TV because of lack of WiFi, mentioned below. (3) unhelpful staff. Left my 17YO daughter in room to grab a pint down street, asked for 2nd key to enter without waking her but was told they “ran out of keys”. (4) horrible WiFi. Foreigners rely HEAVILY on good WiFi to plan day, download maps, pass time, etc. Orchard Hotel must understand this and invest in better WiFi, minimal upgrade that makes the rest above more tolerable. Again, last minute booking, low price comparatively, but these are not difficult things to address. The room and bathroom especially are very very small but that’s not included in review.

Not good hotel

No aircondition we asked for fans which was also not available, in this extreme hot weather in London the hotel is not equipped with any cooling system or fan . When we asked the reception to provide with fan they said they don’t have any and told us to open the windows. Very noisy and busy street . We booked for 2 nights but because of the unliveable condition we checked out the following afternoon and went to another hotel . When we booked through Expedia no where it was mentioned there is no aircondition . I was not offered a refund either for checking out earlier. Very disappointed .

The room is very basic and small, don't count on spending any time there. There is no AC, the window can be opened, but the street is very noisy. If you are planning on sleeping make sure to bring earplugs and eye mask. Breakfast is also very basic. Mind that the time window for breakfast is very narrow - it ends at 8:45 am. The room is very crowded.

Las chicas que sirven el desayuno fueron muy amables y serviciales, punto alto del hotel. El personal de recepción muy poco amable y comunicativo, debe mejorar en ese aspecto. Tiene muy buena ubicación. Podría tener un calentador de agua y té en las habitaciones. El hotel es caro en comparación con lo que ofrece.

It was basic continental breakfast but it meet our needs and expectations.

I stayed on Tuesday, 23 June, and paid £162 for the night. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations. The room allocated was in the basement and was extremely small, which made the stay uncomfortable. There was no air conditioning, which made it difficult to sleep, especially given the warm conditions. I also asked about alternative rooms, but none were available. Additionally, I was unable to have breakfast as there were no vegetarian-safe options due to cross-contamination concerns. This was disappointing and not clearly communicated in advance. While the bed linen itself was acceptable, the overall standard of the room and facilities could certainly have been better. Given the price paid, I would have expected a significantly higher level of comfort and accommodation. I would appreciate your response to this feedback.

small room .Just basic .No provision for tea/ coffee in room.

The property was clean and rooms basic. Wifi was intermitant and tv channels very limited. Breakfast nothing special. Staff pleasant and were helpful.
