This is an absolutely fabulous hotel that my wife and I first stayed in during the late nineties, not long after it opened. It has been a joy to stay here ever since.
The staff were fantastic and it was a pleasure to speak with the general manager Steve Dorcy during our stay, who was highly visible front of house supporting his staff and guests during breakfast.
We were fortunate to receive an upgraded room on the 6th floor which was superbly appointed, spotless and had a superb view over Pelican Bay and the magnificent daily sunset.
The outside pool area and gardens are spectacular and a great place to relax listening to the Palm trees rustling whilst overlooking the lake and fountain.
There was a huge choice at breakfast, including beautifully prepared fresh omelettes and doughnuts the size of hub caps.
Finally the location is perfect. Just off the 41 although you cannot hear the traffic and less than a mile to the beach. It is also surrounded by many great bars, restaurants and shops, all easily within walking distance.
We look forward to staying here again in the future and cannot recommend it highly enough for the no fuss luxury that it offers and a most reasonable price. It awards are all well deserved.
