The staff are the best. Very attentive and knowledgeable about Barcelona. The room is clean and quiet, although small. The room has a safe for valuables and good wifi.
The location is great for walking and the public transit is close and frequent.

Perfectly adequate 2* experience.
We arrived late and there’s no indication where to go for the hostal level (it’s one floor up).
The room was clean and the beds comfortable.
The air con unit wasn’t on or working (no power to it) and the fuses were all fine. Normally I’d ask at reception but as we were only at in the room for 10 hours, we just opened the windows.
It’s very loud owing to the major road outside but that’s the downside of convenience.
All staff were kind. We skipped breakfast but opted for amazing croissants at the bakery to the right of the building. A really nice supermarket is to the left.
We wouldn’t stay here on a normal trip but for a single night with a midnight arrival, it was worth the cons at the favourable price.

Budget accomodation delivered in a very efficient and customer centric manner. Very helpful staff, stored our luggage on early arrival, gave us maps and helped us understand the Metro, arranged picnic breakfast on last day for early departure and arranged taxi. Recommended!
