Moderno, pulito e confortevole con camere spaziose, personale eccellente e atmosfera rilassante. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo con cucina comune ben attrezzata e letti comodi.

Posizione

Zona tranquilla e serena con vista rurale pittoresca. Comodo parcheggio in loco. Facile accesso ai taxi. Vicino alla cascata Kirifuri e al parco Kogen.

Personale cordiale, disponibile e professionale. Assistenza multilingue. Cucina comune ben attrezzata con caffè, tè e zuppa di miso gratuiti.

Pulizia

Camere e aree comuni impeccabilmente pulite. Strutture moderne e ben mantenute. Condizioni immacolate, nuove. Camere e spazi pubblici ben progettati.

I was somewhat upset when I first arrived at the hotel as I discovered how inconveniently located that it was. There are very few public buses and the hotel shuttle only operated from the Tobu Nikko station to the hotel very infrequently. I had to cab to the hotel and take another cab to get out to the town to eat, This costs approximately 1300-1500 yen, and about a 7 min drive, which is NOT walkable! There is no restaurant on site and hence there is no breakfast option. However there is a food truck in the mornings and the hotel sells items that can be heated using the toaster oven or microwave there. Apart from this, the room was large, very nice and clean: the bed was very comfortable. After spending one night there and reconciling myself to the inconvenience of the location, I appreciated the serenity of the place. Other hotels that are nearer to town are less likely to be as modern and as long as you are willing to pay for cabs, or plan ahead in the use of the shuttle, the hotel is great!

I really like the atmosphere, very quiet and peaceful. The place was so clean and neat. Staffs were friendly, they gave us towels when we arrived because it was raining. We will definitely book it again.

The staff and the property were wonderful! Beautiful rooms and environment! The free shuttle from the train station was helpful. Amenities were nice, with coffee & latte machine. Would recommend both Nikko and the hotel!

Very nice and clean property. It is perfect except for maybe the location. Nikko in general is more spread out and harder to navigate. This property really felt out of the way of basically everything. That being said, as long as you don't mind taking a few taxis and strategically use their complimentary shuttle times, then it really is a nice place to stay.

I loved how close it was to everything. At night, it looked kind of magical from the outside. The room was clean and the staff were very helpful. I would absolutely stay here again if I visit Nikko.

Fairfield is nestled in a tranquil and charming yet convenient location. We love the convenience and availability of free onsite parking. The staff were very helpful in providing dining recommendations and also helping us to register for Marriott membership. With 1 hour late check out, we were able to slow down and enjoy the morning with an amazing breakfast from a pop up truck. The common and well stocked dining area also facilitated social interaction and I got to know a few friends from Italy and New Zealand. My family really enjoyed our stay at Fairfield and of course this amazing place Nikko, full of surprises and awesome nature.
