Very nice stay. Room clean and spacious. Good hotel facilities.

This is a lovely hotel, with excellent friendly staff. It is a conference centre too, so has big spaces, very exclusive dining in some areas, a pool / leisure suite and open lounge areas, inside and out. Parking is onsite and it is within a pine forest with trails to the town of Zeist.

Staff was very kind. Everything was as it should have been.

Can't say enough about the staff, they were lovely without exception. The hotel feels a mix of styles and doesn't quite know what style it wants, old, new, 70's 80's. Comfort is ok but its the lack of attention to detail, particularly the cleaning, that lets it down. Some items were actually filthy in the room, water pressure was poor (in both rooms we had) and the upper floors near the car park suffered from passive smoke (and weed) smell as people smoked right below.

I have been staying at this hotel for about 2 decades and not for a few years. I used to take my mother to the restaurant when I visited her. I booked an economy room which I had not done before. Well it was not acceptable. I changed the room for an extra charge of course. Not sure how they could offer the other room. Pretty bad. So don't take the economy room. The other room was one in which I had stayed before and they basically were the same, So they need an upgrade. TV too small. No USB charging. The room was not clean. The bath was pretty good. I think the hotel needs an update. I like the location. I grew up nearby and enjoy waling in the woods. So I might stay again but might look around.

Lovely location and great value for money.

Hotel was nice, staff are lovely. Breakfast was a disappointment not much of a choice.

It's well suited for families and older folks...for young and solo travellers it's a trifle boring

My wife and I visited Amsterdam over the Easter weekend, but we weren't convinced by any Amsterdam hotel, so we decided to book a hotel in Utrecht and take the train from there (cheap, fast and every few minutes). Entirely by accident, I've booked this hotel which isn't even in Utrecht, but at about 8 miles (15km) away. It's a gem! Clean, quiet with a million amenities and options, super safe parking (even for a motorcycle) and easy access to the motorway. I'm sure we'll go again sometimes.
