We checked in and checked for bedbugs. Didn't see any at the time. Went out for supper and the people in the room next door came out showing us bedbugs that they found in their room. We weren't able to get in contact with the owners. After seeing this, we left and booked another hotel room for a lot more, at 11:00 pm, and took us 40 minutes to walk. I don't recommend this to anyone.

No air conditioning working
Sink in room broken
No safe in room
Very basic and poor quality
Great location however for train and bus station and minutes from Rialto canal
Sufficed for the few hours we were in it arriving late afternoon and leaving early next day

The location was excellent, as it was close to the bus and train stations, so you didn't need to depend on water taxies or water buses. The main drawback was two high levels of steps -- difficult with suitcases. The staff was friendly.

Very hot. AC didn't work and couldn't turn the heat off. Left windows open but than lots of bugs. Mold on ceiling amd bathroom. Ran out of toilet paper.

The property was total mass a lot of bugs I have bites all over in my body clean as well another level nothing clean the bathroom will share. doesn’t even mention it on the reservation

No lift to ease moving luggage up and down the hotel. The staff she is a bit rude during check-in. Asked her to show where the washroom is, she tried to explained but I did not understand. She finally left her office and showed me with a very bad attitude. The staff that took over the next day (African decant). She is nice and friendly.

I booked a room at the Adua Hotel, however upon arrival after numerous phone calls, we were finally escorted to the neighboring building along with another couple who arrived at the same time. That building was not well maintained nor attached to the main hotel. The water from the sink in the room drained onto the floor!!!! (There was a piece of tape on the wall that said it was broken.) The room was hot but the attendant did not offer to turn on the AC. We opened the door to the courtyard and were bombarded by mosquitoes. There was no internet service. There was no soap at the sinks and I opened the hall cabinet to get toilet paper.We never saw the Adua Hotel but these furnishings should not be included with their 7.2 rating.

There was no hot water in our room, the room smelled like feet, very loud at night and in the mornings since rooms have minimal soundproofing, also at least twenty mosquitos were waiting for us in the room after we checked in. From being bit by mosquitos all night to loud noises throughout, it was very difficult for us to get any sleep at all.
