I would rate it higher if it wasn’t for our air conditioner not working the last 2 nights we were there. You would think they would have least compensated us with something, but no all we got was we’re sorry.

The only thing I like about this location is a location itself. Other that that, nothing else works. 1. Don't go with a large group of people or family members, we book 6 rooms and none of us have room near each other or even on the same floor. 2. We book ocean view ( not partial ocean view), but only half of our rooms are ocean view, the other half are only see the ocean. We come to the front desk to requests for an exchange, they said "yall lucky to have room, we are fully book today". 3. Room is not fully cleaned, some room smelled wet and the smell of molding is quite strong, again, we came to complain and they said " nothing they can do" 4. There is only one buffet restaurant available, the other 3 restaurant only opened one day a week. You need to reserve a table to be able to get to eat at these 3 restaurants, but the reservation is always full. We have group of 16 people, they only have 2 or 3 spaces available. We end up go out to eat for 2 out of 4 nights because we got tired of the buffet food. 5. AC, avoid to go here if you planning to travel Cancun during Summer. AC works is too cold, but it's only works 2 nights out of 4 nights that we are staying here. The other 2 nights are so hot and so humid that the floor even got water and slippery in the room. 6. AC of the building even broken that water all over the walk way of 4th floor. 7. Avoid Cancun for Summer if you can, a lot of seaweed. We hardly enjoy the beach

The staff were friendly and professional. My room and some other guests i met there did not have AC for two days and one night had to sleep with sliding doors open overnight.

The food was horrible. The resort advertises five restaurants, but that’s very misleading. There are only three actual restaurants—the buffet and a sandwich shop are counted as two of the “five.” The only other restaurant requires reservations, so if you actually want to eat there, be prepared to book well in advance. When we arrived, the staff insisted on taking our luggage instead of letting us bring it ourselves. We then waited 2–3 hours for our bags to finally arrive at our room after traveling all day. Customer service was even worse. The supervisor refused to identify himself by name and was extremely unprofessional when we tried to get help. Our room’s AC barely worked the entire stay. We spent three nights sleeping in a hot, humid room, and by the time we got home, everything in our suitcases was damp. The pool was absolutely filthy. The water looked dirty and poorly maintained, making it completely unappealing to swim in. The location is another downside. It’s far from everything, so expect to pay for taxis everywhere you go. It’s also over 30 minutes from the ferry terminal, so if you’re planning to visit Isla Mujeres or Cozumel, be prepared for a long drive. Overall, this resort did not live up to what was advertised. Between the terrible food, misleading restaurant options, dirty pool, broken AC, poor customer service, luggage delays, and inconvenient location, I would not recommend staying here.

Book your dinner reservations for the on-campus restaurants on day one. The spots go by very quickly. As far as night activities, the establishment can use more entertainment besides the 9pm show and post DJ. Bring your own coffee/tea mug. They are really concerned about the environment so they don’t provide a lid for their cups. The staff were very helpful and accommodations were excellent. I would book again. 8 out of 10

Me encantó el entretenimiento en las piscinas como el del teatro, excelentes show, restaurante Don Gus excelente servicio y cena frente al mar,el bar en la piscina muy bien.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is amazing! This is my 5th time at this hotel and I will continue coming back.

This was our 5th time or so staying at GR. The resort is beautiful. We love it very much. The staff was great, although they seemed to be a little understaffed, they did their best to keep us busy and attended, love the pools, the kids club and easy access to the beach,

I really liked how kind everyone was and how we were greeted on arrival! Everyone was great the food was good, can’t complain when you’re cooking free for a week. I did have an incident with the lady checking us in and giving wrong change. I also didn’t like how we have to make reservations for the restaurants and only had one place were we could walk in to eat. But over all it was a nice place. Don’t know if I would stay here again.
