Ottimo Nearby chinatown and almost everything you need. The staff were so helpful and assisted me storing my luggage before check in and after checking out. They’re doing renovations when I was there so things are little messy and loud die to construction but all in all I’ll definitely book again

Al di sotto della media I stayed at Hotel Europa the night before the San Francisco Marathon and paid around $120. Given the generally positive reviews on Expedia, I was quite disappointed.
This was one of the most basic hotels I have stayed in for years. The first room had a very noisy compressor or similar equipment directly outside the window. The staff did allow me to move to another room, which I appreciated, but the second room was quite warm, and loud voices in the middle of the night woke me up.
Overall, it was a poor experience, especially when a good night's sleep was important. The staff was helpful in changing my room, but the hotel itself did not meet my expectations based on the reviews. I would not stay here again.

Al di sotto della media We were assured a room that overlooked a street. It overlooked another building that was literally 2 ft away.
The toilet leaked all over the bathroom floor.
There were holes in the walls. There was no carpet throughout any of the stairs hallways floors.
The window in our room had a torn screen would not stay open.
There are many, many others too many to name.
We had 5 days reservations and we left after the first night.

No parking. Had to pay 60$/night at nearest lot. Which the hotel advertised that it was only 25$/night.

For an inexpensive hotel in San Francisco Europa was surprisingly clean and updated. What’s the upgrades are complete and the carpet is changed. This looks to be a very good and inexpensive choice.

Kumar, Dave and Al were very helpful throughout my stay. The location near the Embarcadero is ideal for travelling to and from SFO especially if cruising. I ate many sumptuous Chinese meals in nearby Chinatown. I will definitely stay at the Europa Hotel again. Their new elevator will be in operation very soon which is a bonus.
