City Circus Athens - Hostel

Stayed here two nights for my first ever solo trip and would recommend to everyone. I got a solo room which was clean and had just enough space. They had optional excursions, phenomenal location which is easily walkable to anywhere you would want to go. Lots of food within 5 minutes. Staff was great and held onto my luggage before check in and were always kind.

The staff were nice and helpful. They also had socialising and activities but as we were only there one night we didn’t go. The common areas were decorated with cool furniture and were quite spacious. The room had what we needed. They were kind enough to let us store our luggage and access it multiple times either side of our stay so we could see the city more easily. The area was very nice and had lots of outdoor cafes and restaurants. We walked to the Acropolis and other sight seeing.

The breakfast menu was good and the bathrooms were clean and private for just our room of 6. Front desk staff was lovely and very helpful!

I loved my 8 night stay at the City Circus. The building is beautiful and my room (4 bed female dorm with en-suite) was spacious with a locker large enough to fit my suitcase into. Bed very comfortable and all staff are awesome. Note that it isn't a party hostel. Guests range from young to old, all with different reasons for their Athens stay. The night manager is very strict about noise - quiet time in the communal areas is from 23.30. Open plan kitchen is very useful. The street itself is quite tatty (albeit in a very fun and safe area) like much of Athens and there is quite a bit of street noise. The building is historic and they're not allowed to add modern soundproofing. I live in central London so noise doesn't bother me much but please bear this element in mind if you're looking for lots of peace and quiet.

Loved the property

It's a wonderful hotel, located at the center of the city. All major tourist attractions are close by. All the stuffs are wonderful. I will highly recommend Tasos for his extra ordinary customer service.

Great customer service

Room was immaculate and with lots of space. Air conditioning seemed to be a problem but guy at desk helped to get it functioning.

Absolutely loved City Circus Athens. Staff was amazing and knowledgeable. Charming hostel with a heart of gold. Perfect for a solo traveler. Highly recommend.
