The view from the motel is spectacular

Our room was beautiful & clean!! We had the Mountain View room #208 and loved the balcony to watch the sun come up! It was quiet and we did not hear any other renters. We had quick access to the pool, courtyard, parkimg lot, & uptown shops & restaurants. We enjoyed the color changing lights at night in the hot tub. And on top of it all, it was affordable! I would definitely recommend the Matterhorn to everyone.

This is a perfect down to earth place to stay in Sedona. Great location and walking distance to town. Awesome room, nicely appointed, great rain shower, pool/HTub and all around scenic views. Clean, easy to park. Loved its heritage as an old ‘motor lodge’ modernized with great amenities. Plenty of places to stay in Sedona and this was perfect with quality and price point.

We recently stayed at the Matterhorn Inn in Sedona and really enjoyed our visit. This is an older motel that has been nicely renovated while still maintaining its charm. The location is absolutely fantastic—right in the heart of Uptown Sedona and within walking distance of countless shops and restaurants. The views from our room were lovely, and we appreciated being able to park the car and explore on foot. Our room was simple, clean, comfortable, and updated with a nice bathroom and good amenities. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and we enjoyed relaxing in the refreshing pool and hot tub after a day of exploring. Fresh water and ice were always available, which was a nice touch. We also found the price to be very reasonable for such a prime location. The biggest downside for us was the air conditioning system. The unit appeared to operate on a motion sensor, and because the sensor was located around the corner from the bed, the air conditioning would often stop running while we slept. The room became quite warm every night, which was frustrating. Unfortunately, the staff didn’t seem to understand the issue when we brought it up. Parking is somewhat limited, although we were always able to find a space. Breakfast offerings were also fairly minimal. Overall, the Matterhorn Inn offers a clean, comfortable, and affordable stay in an unbeatable location. We would definitely consider staying again, especially if the air conditioning issue were addressed.

The hotel was great! Beautiful views and clean! Comfortable bed. The only concern was the parking. It was very limited.

This is a great place to stay. Easy to get to and convenient location. It’s quiet but within walking distance to many things in the heart of Sedona. We will be back for another stay here!

Great trip. Pool was small and needed cleaning but adequate size for us. Grab and go coffee bar was convenient. We had a great stay in the Chalet.

Everything was great with our reservation.
