I love this historic hotel. Classic Balinese 1980s craftsmanship and hand-carved detail. A garden full of gods, goddesses and fantastic greenery. They don’t make ‘em like this anymore - instead they tear them down and put up boxes. Sample this darling before ‘the market’ levels it.

I love this hotel so much. I have stayed here many times and the service is impeccable. The hotel is traditional Balinese style and the staff are so welcoming, friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and accommodate requests. The food is also INCREDIBLE. The traditional Balinese is beyond excellent. I can't recommend this place highly enough. The hotel changed management recently, and I understand it will be going through a 'refreshment'. I hope it doesn't lose what is unique to Puri Cendana which is the traditional old style Balinese architecture and decor, plus the traditional feel of the hotel. Puri Cendana is unique and special.

Fantastic stay at this property, traditional Balinese, staff very friendly and helpful, close to the beach, beautiful gardens and quiet, loved staying here, older style hotel but very clean and tidy terima kasih for haveing me stay, i will be back 🙏👌😆

Another beautiful stay at this little treasure. Fantastic location, close to beach and lots of restaurants & bars. Traditional Balinese Architecture and lovely gardens. A lovely pool area with waterfall. Poolside massage available. Staff are lovely.

Shower needs upgrading with adjustable height and angle for the shower head.
