There was a customer in room 116that screamed on the phone cursing and swearing an entire night

The worst Holiday Inn I have ever stayed in. The bed was horrible, mold In the bathroom, and many other issues. We felt very unsafe there. We tried to call Hotels.com for assistance to find another hotel, good luck with that! Last time I will use them.

Rough location, be weary.

My son was asked to leave the building at breakfast in the morning. The manager had thought he was someone else that was coming into the building. He was escorted or pushed out of the building and would not be able to get back into the building. He had is room key on him, however, his wallet and drivers license was left in the room. He went across the street to a gas station to use someone's phone to call me on my cell phone. He went back to the hotel and finally convinced the person at the front desk to look it up on his computer that he was staying at the hotel under room 205 and he was not who he thinks it was. We were only in Columbus, OH for two days and did not have time to file any charges with the authorities, however, we should have. I would not stay at this hotel ever again moving forward. Due to no fault of the staff, I started getting fees taken from my card Fri on our way to Columbus. The staff was unable to explain why and there was no manager to speak with. Another fee towards my card Fri night, another Saturday and another Sunday. I booked the stay for $942 but the fees by our last day were well into $1,300+ with all of the fees they kept adding. Took almost 4 days for final fees to clear my account totaling $1,010 and the other fees to fall off. Also our door didn't even have a lock. We had to keep the latch over it and thank goodness had gotten adjoining rooms so we could go in and out through that door. Wasn't a bad place to stay but the other two couples we went with had only their one time fee when they checked out. Oh and every day we left for the high school bowling competition that we went there for, our key cards had to be reactivated upon return to the hotel. I hardly ever give negative reviews but we were very disappointed as we do enjoy booking at the various Hilton / Holiday Inn when we travel.

Nice breakfast, great location - good value for the money.

I figured a chain like the Holiday Inn would be a safe bet, but we arrived to Find a dirty box fan sitting on the check in counter running to try to keep it slightly cooler in the lobby area (it was pretty hot). The attendant behind the counter ignored me for several minutes and then looked up, bored. He checked me in and then proceeded to tell us where the stairs are located. I asked about the elevator as our son has a disability and stairs are difficult. He said it was down and nothing else. I asked if we could get a room on the first floor instead of the 3rd and he didn’t even reply. My son insisted he could handle the stairs so we decided to just go up. If he had needed his wheelchair, I’m not sure what we would have done. The hotel or Expedia should notify anyone in advance that their elevator is out of service. The carpet in the stairwells was filthy. The room was typical and the a/c did work in the room but it sucked dragging our bags up and down the stairs in the hot and humid hallways. I would t recommend.

This hotel was horrible the bed had a big stain on the box spring, the breakfast was overcooked, and the shower either was really cold or way too hot there was no in-between, and on the day we checked out the cold water went out completely, which is not ideal when you have children that need showers, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
