On arrival was able to check in even though early, room was upgraded to a garden view which was appreciated. The rooms are clean and well maintained, mostly quiet although someone was thumping around above us, but it wasn't annoying enough to complain. Breakfast was as expected, pleasant with an outdoor eating area, sparkling wine and usual offerings, and it was never overly busy, and they replaced items if you asked, breakfast is also on until 11am which is great. Dìd not use pool but gardens and pool area are nice to relax in, no loud music. Service at the bar/restaurant was sketchy, some excellent staff and others clueless. Service charge is added at end of stay, so pay as you go is my recommendation. Shuttle service to the lovely beach, could do with a few more collection/drop off times, but the walk back is quick if not a bit hilly at the start. The reception team and staff around the hotel, breakfast team and spa team are lovely, Ceila on reception & Sam in the spa in particular. Our first stay here was in 2019, 7 years later, there are some improvements, fire pit relaxation area is nice touch and would be welcome if visiting during the cooler months. Didn't try the buffet restaurant as it wasnt great in 2019 and the reviews this time around show not much improvement. There is a newish restaurant on site which we didn't try as closed for 2 of our 4 days. A couple of decent Portuguese restaurants a five minute walk away. Opposite pine cliffs resort.

We stayed there for the second time and love it. It's the perfect hotel stay for a couple looking for some relaxing down time. Great local restaurants and bars close by also. The issue this year was the hotel and pool bars are now including a 10% tip on all bills. This is not America so please stop this. If the service and product is good, then customers will tip. I had a very bad experience at the pool bar where a staff member had no idea what to do, and what to do with my order of ICE CREAM, so I sat for 10 minutes as a colleague was called - the cheek then to include a 10% tip for that kind of service - SERIOUSLY! The staff then ask if you would like the tip taken off which is awkward so most will leave it in. Not acceptable in our opinion and leaves a sour taste to an otherwise great experience.

Nice big comfortable bed, clean modern balcony. Relaxing well maintained gardens and pool areas with plenty of space. Lovely reception staff.

Clean and beautiful

Loved the dance party and band on the night we checked in. Staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and comfortable and enjoyed the outdoor deck. Nice private location and easy to get to other towns in the region. Highly recommend this hotel!

The staff was amazing, the room was lovely. Just a lovely time in a great location.

An excellent, peaceful stay at a wonderful hotel. The staff were outstanding, food great, & we especially enjoyed the indoor pool & facilities. A little remote but Ubers & taxis readily available for trips into Albufeira etc Highly recommended

The place and staff are amazing
