The lady at the reception (Aiko san) is very helpful. Recommend places and restaurants. Aiko san speaks vey good English. The garden at the entrance is very well maintained with various plants. The private open rock bath attached to the room is heaven

Very close to major site seeing location including walkable distance to the stations. You can feel traditional vibe here for sure. It was very roomy, quiet and private. Our room had a private outdoor onsen and it was beautiful ~~ so relaxing with killer view of the mountain. Owner who welcomed us spoke excellent English and so friendly. We felt very welcome to the property. Love this place!

Fantastico The room is very big. The outdoor private onsen definitely is a plus point, we enjoy very much especially during the winter time. Iko san, the owner is very kind to recommend the dinner place and help us to make reservation. I will stay here again if I come to Yufuin.

Apart from the location easier to get to by taxi. There’s no restaurant in this hotel. But other than that it’s a perfect small hotel for families. Owner can communicate in English very well.

We had a lovely stay at this onsen resort. The host is very nice and she speaks perfect English.
The property is very beautiful. It's a very traditional Japanese onsen. There are 5 rooms and every room has it's own beautiful outdoor hot spring. It's walking distance to the main street and the host make excellent restaurant recommendation.
We really enjoy our stay there for 3 nights this summer.
