Great apartments and fantastic staff. That’s why we keep returning.

We had a wonderful holiday at the Aqua Mar. When I arrived I peeped into the comments book and it was filled with praise for Bernardo and his team. I quickly realised why - he is an absolute delight, coming out personally to welcome us on our first morning and generally going out of his way to be helpful and this also goes for his staff. The other guests were similarly lovely. I travelled with toddler twins and always had a helping hand without ever needing to ask for one. I’ve often read old books where everyone on holiday knows everyone else and couldn’t believe this was ever true but everyone chatted around the pool and were quick with recommendations for local restaurants etc. The room was clean, large and had (almost) everything we needed (only a cafetière, a colander and a cheese grater would also have come in handy for the lack of sleep and feeding kids their staple diet of pasta :D ) It’s also close to lots of restaurants and shops (a special shout out to Sweet Treats directly opposite who does amazing breakfasts and lunches and whose staff were amazing) and a short walk or drive to the beach. Thank you again Bernardo and team!

The kitchen was pretty well equipped although it would have been nice to have a coffee maker. The rooms were kept very clean by the chambermaids and we have nothing but great things to say about the wonderful fellows that manned the front desk. The area of Olhos de Aqua is a very quaint part of Albufeira which we absolutely loved. We felt very safe here and loved all the little restaurants in the area. We would definitely stay here again. Our thanks to all the staff!

Have been to this village many times but this was a first for this property . Would not go back unles we could specifically choose an upstairs apartment. Very dissapointed with the size of the balcony. Bath very unsafe as no shower mat or grab rail and base of bath very slippy when standing in shower.

Very spacious, clean apartment in the middle of olhous de aqua. Easy booking, reception staff, helpful and friendly. Highly recommend

Love this property and stayed many times, small and quiet complex with the most friendly staff in a superb location in the village. We will be back!
