Property is quite isolated and far from eating establishments. We had an excellent dinner (need to preorder) and the breakfast buffet was good. Room was very small w/o a desk or closet and very small bathroom with limited amenities.

It’s not a fancy hotel but it is very nice. The staff were helpful with advice on local restaurants and the breakfast was good. We also appreciated that they had a charger for our plug-in hybrid vehicle, though we couldn’t always use it as other guests got to it first.

Great breakfast, nice comfy bed, nice place to stay on your ring road drive.

It’s quite basic. I didn’t really see staff as it’s self check in and self check out, so I can’t comment. Breakfast is 8-10am which is late compared to other hotels/motels in Iceland (usually 7-10am).

Clean, comfortable accommodation. Nice quiet location with beautiful views over the mountains. Coffee and tea provided. Good breakfast, with plenty of choice. Would happily stay again

This hotel saved us during a bad snowstorm. It looks unassuming from outside, but the room was very comfortable and the food is excellent. They had the best lamb we had in Iceland! The breakfast was a good selection and also high quality. The staff was lovely and accommodating when we made a last minute reservation. We didn't have Northern Lights the night we were there, but this would be a great location for spotting them.

So hotel is not bad. Roughly 17 kilometers away from a town where you can find food and restaurants. Just because far away everywhere and dark outside., so we luckily from the front of the hotel,we can see the northern lights.

The place was very clean and very close to Seljalandsfoss - a great place to stay if you’re touring the south coast. Staff was also very helpful - I left my earbud on the bed and they kept it for me to pick it up on our way back to Reykjavik x Only complaint is the drain was quite smelly when we got in. Would be great if the staff could air the toilet a bit before the next guest!

Nice hotel which is reasonably close to the airport. Shuttle service (one way) from the hotel to the airport is a bonus. Too bad there's no shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Not sure why. Dinner at the restaurant was good, and is the only dining option available. We didn't see any restaurants within walking distance. Our only complaint is that our room was very warm even with the window opened and the thermostat turned OFF. We couldn't understand why, since this is a first floor room. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast was excellent!!
