The room was great, clean tidy what you would expect. The plus point for me was the windows opened, love the fresh air. The staff were friendly. Didn't have breakfast, only stayed 1 night. Didn't use sauna. There was under ground parking and an overflow carpark. (Pre booked underground parking)
Nothing wrong with hotel or the room, some of the images around the hotel and ambience, felt 1980's, so it definately dated. But that was nice in a nostalgic way.
The hotel was about 15 minutes from the center of Frieburg by uber.

This is a very old and outdated hotel. However, that being said, it was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very nice as well. It is also located in a great walkable area.

The room felt like it was back from the 60s with shag carpets that I didn’t trust. The bed was not comfortable and squeaky. No air conditioning but with window open the noise was excessive. The front desk lady was not pleasant at check in but at check out, we had a different lady who was very sweet.

Pleasant stay overall! Very clean and comfortable except that the beds were very very firm/hard. Also the A/C seems more like a fan than traditional cooling. Fortunately the weather was cool and breezy so we were able to open the windows.
