Overall the place was OK. I did like that the room was spacious and had a good kitchen set-up. The carpet was very worn and had a large rip in it. Carpet seemed dirty. Also, amenties provided were sparse - for example, no body lotion provided. Terrible coffee in the room (much better in the lobby).
The breakfast was great but doesn't start unitl 6:30 am during the week and 7 am on the weekend. I think Coffee should be available starting at 5 am, and breakfast should start at 6 am everyday.
Location for my purposes was very good. It was on a quiet street and the room was very quiet. The staff was generally good, but when I asked for more soap for the room it seemed like I asked for a kidney donation. Also, I ordered food and it was dropped off and nobody at the front desk called my room to tell me, so I had to heat the meal in the microwave.
The elevators were painfully slow - never could figure out why. Not a big deal but just kind of annoying. The onsite gym and pool were pretty good. Would I stay again? I probably would if the pricing is good - but I'll probably see if Holiday Inn is in better condition.
