Great location, convenience to everywhere. No toiletory provided. Room sound proof is worse than terrible. I can hear my nextdoor hangover kid yelling that he was a DJ or so at 450am. Vending machine offers basic toiletries but only to pay by Octopus card. The towel was paper thin on the go type. If you need to access business in the central area and you don't care about the amenities or environment, plus, you are traveling solo, give it a shot

The Central Mini Hotel is a very inexpensive hotel with mini rooms. We are talking Spartan rooms....the bare necessities are met but for $50 to $65 USD you will get a room with a twin bed, two little pillows, free wifi, a little LED TV, a tiny bathroom with a toilet and a shower. They have toilet paper. There is a soap dispensary in the shower. Bring your own tooth brush and towel. Theto wel they give you is the thinnest bath towel ever and is a disposable towel, about the size of a pillow case. You can kind of dry off. The lobby is big and comfortable and spacious. It's at the top of a hill, in the middle of hilly central. The old correspondent's club is next to it, and the reason I stayed here was because I came over from Macau to apply for a new passport at the United States Consulate, which is about 6 minutes away on foot. The peak tram, if you want to go to the top of Victoria Peak, is about 10 minutes from the hotel, as is the zoo and botanical garden. There are many restaurants and shops down the hill...I dined at the Outback Steakhouse, about 5 minutes down the Ice House Road. For the price, you get what you pay for. I give it an okay rating but would not want to stay for more than one night.

Let’s start by saying what you see in pictures is not what you get! Yes rooms are small but I expect that in Asian hotels. What was a bad was. The bed is a harder than a rock! The room smelled so bad! For a towel you get a packed car drying towel you buy at a car wash place! Thin chip and rips! Next mold in shower! Stains on walls.
