Fantastico Honestly felt very comfortable here. My son enjoyed swimming in the pool. I liked that there was a laundry room on site & the sliding glass door. Although I ended up with a little visitor at night, I was on a bottom floor, and a slug made its way in or had already been inside.

Hotel rooms looked like they’ve been freshly upgraded. Internet service was great. Television worked properly. Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable.

Very dirty overall. Found underwear and shorts hanging in the bathroom on the door. It has probably been a couple of months since somebody swept the bathroom floor behind the door and the corners.

We had a mix-up with the reservation date, and they refused to accommodate us, even though it was eminently clear we had made an error. I hope they enjoyed our money for nothing.

Sweet spot not far from anything you want to do in this area! Super friendly staff and clean room. I just wish I had more time to use the pool and spa! This is a repeated favorite place. We haven’t stayed in a long time, it’s nice to see the upgraded rooms. And you can bring your pups!

Bene We found this Motel satisfactory for our brief stay. It's nothing fancy, but our room was clean, quiet and the beds comfortable.
Front desk staff cooperative. We asked for a quiet room away from the traffic and they provided it.
Rates were reasonable and it's conveniently located near Hearst castle.

We have stayed at the Silver Surf multiple times a year for the last 27 years. We have always loved it and our family has countless core memories there. It has always been more than just a hotel for us. This stay changed that completely and none of our family will be back. The staff was incredibly rude at check-in, there were very few pool towels available, the vending machines did not work, and we were told we were not welcome back upon check out. We are not the type to leave negative reviews, but this trip left us no choice. We are sad to say that even if we were welcome back, we will no longer be creating memories at the Silver Surf. It is my hope that management understands that the lack of customer service and kindness in general just lost the establishment very loyal customers. Do better.
