Good: Location is great. Next door to Reading Terminal Market & Convention Center. Walkable to lots of landmarks and restaurants. Needs Improvement: We checked in Friday at noon and Sunday at 4 PM we had to call down to have housekeeping come to our room as it had not been serviced all weekend. There were no signs on our door to indicate we did not want service. Toilet was not working so we called to front to see if maintenance could come fix it. The front desk said there’s one person- they will get there when they get there and then hung up on us. We left for a few hours (roughly 5) came back and toilet was still broken. Had to call back down and see if they would fix it as we couldn’t flush the toilet. Second person we talked to was helpful. Overall- it was meh. Not the worst. Not the best.

Great stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. The location was perfect - right next to Reading Terminal Market and Chinatown, walkable to Independence NP and surrounding sites. Our room was spacious and clean. Would stay again.

Great location. Nice room. No view in room, but the 10th floor restaurant/bar has a nice view. Very nice staff.

The proximity to center city was great...half a block walk to Reading Terminal Market. Approximately a block from Chinatown. 15 minute walk to the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. Plus a connected parking garage.

This hotel is well located in the heart of Downtown and walking distance to everything. For the location and price I would stay here again. It doesn't have any onsite parking but the public garage is right next to the hotel.

Hotel is very close to Jefferson subway station and Reading Terminal market and Chinatown. There is plenty options around for breakfast or lunch in the vicinity but after the market closes it is a bit limited. Hotel was okay but somewhat underwhelming. Proximity of subway station makes unfortunately the area being magnet to homeless people. Hotel Staff was not very helpful when asked about events in the city but they handled other issues related to our stay professionally. We were not satisfied with cleanness of our first room and they have switched our room promptly. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was also okay although the menu was a bit limited. Considering the price we paid, the experience was underwhelming. Note that hotel does not have swimming pool which is being advertised on Expedia.

Staff was nice, hotel was clean and a great location to everything. The one thing that was frustrating was no soap, and almost empty shampoos. Not a deal breaker, but when they are only refillable by housekeeping staff, and there’s barely any shampoo or hand soap, and no shower soap or conditioner…
