Notwithstanding the best efforts of the staff to maintain the property, a strong musty smell in the room which as I was told was the best and the cleanest, overshadowed everything else.
The hotel is huge and visibly clean but quite dated and had seen better times.
Needs serious renovations to mitigate the mold condition, obviously very prevailing in such climate.
I was left with no alternatives, due to a very late arrival at 2 a.m. after long flights and lengthy waiting times in the airport. Hence the detailed review.
Notwithstanding the beautiful grounds, with the lengthiest pool stretching the whole ground floor, and a fantastic delicious breakfast with an enormous variety of fresh and cooked dishes of different cuisines.
