Fantastic as always - I love the different themed rooms and hope the owners bring in a way for guests to record what rooms they have stayed in and what ones they have yet to enjoy!

We had a huge room in this lovely, quirky hotel. Staff were really helpful and the breakfast was great. Loved the little steam punk details. Would definitely stay again.
To note that parking is on the street but it’s perfectly safe.

What a lovely place to stay in Oamaru. We were pleasantly surprised as to how lovely this hotel is. It’s in a great central location and the room was cozy. It was a little noisy in the morning but we expected that with it being right on a main road. Staff were extremely friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Situated right on the high street, handy for supermarket, general stores, historic buildings, art and archive museum. Steampunk HQ 5 mins away and Oamuru penguins (the highlight of my stay) 5 mins drive away. Friendly helpful staff, relaxed atmosphere, good continental self serve breakfast. Room was lovely. Clean and comfy. Homemade ginger biscuits yum. Road outside can be a little noisy from being on a thru road but thats hardly a biggie.
