Absolutely wonderful staff and a rundown property ready for renovation of rooms and bathrooms. Cleaners still kept it in a v clean condition. Breakfast - lovely fresh baked goods, fruits etc in a very pleasing continental breakfast. Absolutely awfully prepared Australian breakfast that I once tried - didn’t eat anything apart from eggs and would not recommend it. Dinners - depending on the chef - two nights delightful dinners- calamari and chicken curry- v yummy and beautifully served. Chicken schnitzel- ok. Another three nights terribly prepared dinners - barramundi, again calamari and fettuccine- not good at all- soggy calamari, almost raw veggies, unpalatable fettuccine - they need to seriously look into chefs!
Smell of cigarettes as you enter restaurant/ pub - not good. I hope they will take this feedback constructively as staff made my stay v comfortable- thank you!
