Got hit with a bill that was no fault of my own but the guest who waited in the lobby and broke the winding part of the window which was old and due for replacement. The staff said I was responsible but failed to show me the video footage. She said I would have to contact the police to access video. Go figure! The bill was $656!!! Looking at the window this could be easily replace for under $50. It should be covered on their insurance. Will never stay here again.
The room was small. Wifi was super slow. Better value elsewere. The lift too ages to get to the floor

I had a very disappointing experience with my recent stay at Hotel Diplomat.
The issues started right at check-in. The process was handled poorly, and my interaction with the staff member on duty was far from professional or welcoming. It set a negative tone from the outset, which is not what you expect when arriving at a hotel.
What’s more concerning is the complete lack of follow-up. I specifically requested for the General Manager to contact me to discuss my experience, yet I have received no communication at all. This lack of response speaks volumes about how little value is placed on guest feedback and service recovery.
Unfortunately, this experience has left me feeling that guest concerns are not taken seriously. I would not recommend staying here based on both the service at check-in and the absence of any meaningful attempt to address the issue afterward.
