The staff were warmly & friendly. The location is quiet and restful with beautiful surroundings. Close to town & scenic river walks. The hotel is very run down though. Creaky floors with thin walls. Shower was warm not hot. TV had great use of Apps to stream from my phone. Heat pump was lovely. I enjoyed my stay for the price I paid.

There was ample parking for my vehicle and trailer next to the chalet.

We’ve previously stayed at the Grandeur Thermal Spa Resort in a Chalet room and it was great! This time we booked a studio room and it was disappointing to what we had stayed in previously. It had everything you need in a studio room. But it was “run down” or “tired” compared to previously. The bathroom in particular was in need of some TLC. Overall it was a place to sleep, and it worked for what we needed for one night.

It was alright but the suite was out of hand wash and body wash which made it annoying

It was the most run down property I’ve ever stayed at. I will not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel.

We stayed at Grandeau Thermal Spa Resort on the 16th–17th of May and unfortunately left feeling quite disappointed overall. The biggest issue was the general cleanliness and upkeep of the rooms and facilities, which did not meet the standard we expected, especially for somewhere calling itself a “resort and spa.” The rooms felt extremely bare and empty, lacking any warmth or atmosphere. Even simple touches like artwork on the walls, themed décor, bedside lamps, or softer lighting would make a huge difference. At the moment the rooms feel cold and unfinished rather than relaxing or luxurious. The overhead lighting was also very harsh, and bedside lamps would have made the space much more comfortable in the evenings. Even with the heat pump going we found our room to be extremely cold in the master bedroom and had to sleep upstairs (3 of those stairs not having the support board under them was a bit worrying too). As well as a vent going straight from the bathroom to the bedroom?? Without evidence I cannot say it wasnt insulated but it definitely felt as such. There is definitely potential here, but at the moment it feels like the property needs more attention to presentation, comfort, and overall guest experience to match the expectations set by the advertising and pricing.

Bed was very comfortable, however rubbish bin had not been emptied from last person and when trying to get tv going we were told terrible reception use you tube, Didn’t find that acceptable and couldn’t get tv.
