We had a very pleasant over-night stay in a lovely large room had a lot of space. The beds were comfy and the little kitchenette was a useful extra facility. The breakfast was excellent with a very wide variety and lots of fresh fruit as well as the usual continental spread of meats, cheese, breads, etc.
Our only qualm was that, as we were held up in excessively busy traffic, we were due to arrive after 8pm on Sunday which meant that Reception would by then be closed. We had a helpful phone call from the owner who explained how we could self-check-in.
The main issue for us was that we had planned to eat in the hotel restaurant which is closed ONLY on Sunday evenings. This information was totally missing from the Hotel.com information on the confirmation details. We could have eaten en route had Hotels.com bothered to add this most ESSENTIAL of info for those, like us, travelling and arriving on a Sunday!!!
