Our oasis… while the other hotels along Camos Bay are on the loud main road through town, The Retreat is just enough above the road that you really only hear the ocean waves breaking on the shore or the birds in the gardens. We were so happy we picked this place instead of near the chaos. The staff were incredibly helpful and responsive and we ended us eating there most every night as the food was great and the outside dining area had the best ocean sunset views you could ask for. We had to cancel one part of our journey and turned around and came right back here. Such a treat.

Staff very courteous. Room was clean. Convenient location near the beach (10 minute walk). Missing a hair dryer which they brought promptly. No hot water when we arrived but they fixed (by turning off the water supply to the pool!). Breakfast waiter first day very nice, but kept forgetting what members of our family (of 5) had ordered. Some items never arrived. All in all, a nice hotel, almost very nice, and reasonably priced.

The Main house is an amazing property, the 4 suites offer great views and well appointed furnishings. This is a unique place to stay, the photos don’t do it justice! The view is stunning and you can hear the waves crashing!

The most beautiful hotel and grounds. Lovely staff, wellness centre is fantastic, rooms are spacious, clean and well decorated. Photos don’t do it justice, the grounds are huge. Thanks for a great stay and for making us so welcome

We had a room in the manor house which was really nice, a few gripes was that it's a bit noisy near the tennis and you have to keep all the curtains closed due to the outside lighting, our tv had to be reset a few time and the bed was a bit uncomfortable. However, the actual manor house is beautiful with a glorious view. You can eat outside to enjoy the view, the food is very good also, staff friendly.

This place is amazing! Our family of 4 stayed here and really enjoyed the experience. The views are really unbeatable and staff are super friendly. Beach strip has great eateries
