We LOVED our stay! We were offered dinner - a chicken and potato curry- which we took them up on. It was by far the best meal I’ve had in NZ- home cooked, tasty and so flavourful! We loved the garden area and the deck. It was one of our best stays. 100 percent recommended!!

Friendly staff, smooth check in/out, great location if you are looking at a place to stay close by the caves however, property is fairly old.

I was warm without touching the air conditioning. While the parking was not right by the unit it used, there was good parking. I had no trouble walking up the sloping driveway and the steps to access my accommodation. Others might find this a problem.

Conveniently located to restaurants and the museum. Very clean. The woman who works the inn is very kind and makes a lovely breakfast. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay after our caving adventure. Wonderful host and great breakfast included. Only bummer was the parking situation. If you have much luggage it’s a hassle to carry it up the stairs, and parking was a small distance from the rooms.

The staff was exceptional, friendly, helpful, kind. The room was comfortable, provided the necessities. Breakfast was a nice addition.

Ottimo The management/staff are great. They offer a home cooked dinner, which is perfect after a day of hiking and exploring. Their breakfast was just right for me.
Personally, I would have appreciated shampoo and conditioner in the room, and a quilt rather than a beds cover.

Great small lodge in Waitimo! Unbelievably friendly owner, a gem of a lady. Nice cabins, clean, comfortable, and with lots of windows for hot days. A great cold breakfast as well! Good value, highly recommend.
