The hotel is a good location for attending the DC BBQ Festival. 10 minute walk. Perfect for getting all your freebies, dropping them off, taking a rest, and then going back for more!
The hotel staff were helpful.
Didn’t get breakfast, but it looked like the standard fare.
We mostly ordered delivery during our stay.
The neighborhood is quiet to walk around. Not a lot of patches for dogs on the immediate block, but there’s a mini park one block past the Irish Pub that has swings and a patches for animals.
This location is also one block from the Capital Arena. So perfect for concerts.
There is a host of military service people staying at the hotel. It seems like the whole lobby is swarmed with them at various times of the day (probably shift changes).
They are also extremely noisy at night.
For the most part the location is cool.
