Al di sotto della media Only nice thing I can say is that front desk was friendly and I didn’t encounter any living bugs. Easily the worst super 8 I’ve stayed at. It’s in Decatur no-less, which is a fairly nice area. Stains on sheets, awful smell and musty room, surfaces stained and…kind of sticky. Found hair on my pillow, which was stained with something reddish. Towels also stained. Even the HANGING PICTURE had a strange opaque white stain. Cleaning staff is either terrible or non-existent. First time I’ve ever left a hotel early and tired because I was genuinely nauseous from the room

Al di sotto della media The staff person who checked us in was totally detached as if she had survived a terrible day and only wanted to toss us the room keys and go home. She didn’t give us any information except the room number and the keys. I

Scary people wandered in the parking lot.
The first room they put me in stunk so much, I requested to be put in another room. The second room was a little better, but the carpet was old, and the floor felt sunken in by the doorway.
Two of the lamp bases had rust like patches on them.
Not business-friendly: The room was so very dark (even with ALL the lights on) that I couldn’t work in the room and left early, even though it made me lose money (because I had paid in advance). I just wanted out.
After turning in my room keys, as I was getting ready to pull out of the parking lot, the front desk attendant came out and knocked on my car window. He kindly pointed out that I still had one more night left that I had paid for. I told him I preferred to leave. He said he couldn’t refund any of my money and that I needed to take up this issue with my booking agent.
I will never stay at this hotel again.
However, the front desk staff was very polite and professional.
