I gave this hotel 3 stars for the two reasons below.
CONS: #1) The check in staff could have been a bit more courteous and helpful. We requested an early check in due to our soccer game tickets to see Argentina play against Cabo Verde at the World Cup Miami Stadium. Although, we were allowed to check in earlier than usual check in time, it just did not feel as though the hotel staff was trying his best, it was as if we were asking him for money!
#2) and probably the main reason why I would not come here again. We were woken up abruptly at 3:35 AM with the loud noise coming from the room next to ours. They were clearly having a PARTY next door. There was loud/screams, loud music, banging on walls and doors, etc. When we called the front desk about it, they replied: "yes someone else already called about it. I will try to go there as soon as I get a chance". I was stunt! I expected, "I do apologize for the great inconvenience, we will take care of this right away". Nope! It took more than an hour for the party to end. Most of the staff here is clearly not happy to work here and showed it. But to be fair, there were exceptions, like the lady at the restaurant in the mornings who served us very courteously and helpful (didn't get her name).
PROS: location if you're looking to party, the restaurant serves good food, the appearance of the hotel was good, well kept, the amenities (very nice pool and pool area), elevator...It wasn't horrible but I would not come here again!
