Great place for the price and the staff is very helpful and friendly

Resort is nice but the dining needs a lot of improvement. You’re entitled to one reservation dinner for every 3 nights of stay. They’re no reservations, it’s first come first served. The first night the wait was 2.5 hours, so we went to the buffet. Second night we waited one hour and forty five minutes for the Mexican restaurant. The following night we attempted another restaurant and the wait was well over two hours, so we had to leave and go to the buffet again. I finally went to customer support and they were able to get us one last dinner, on our last night. Place is fabulous but lots of construction during our stay.

The staff was great. The only issue we experienced was the day before our departure they did not clean our rooms or refill our amenities or the soaps and shampoo.

lo mejor fue el personal de limpieza pero lo demás muy mala atención , la parte de la comida fatal , poca adopción y mucho desorden en el restaurante que abría esa noche , la bebida igual te atendía como si no fuera todo incluido . siento que a ese hotel no regresaría más ni lo recomendaría tampoco

The property was pleasant and there was maintenance work being conducted around the site. The beach area was terrible and not as advertised with only a small area accessible on the Akumal site of the resort as all other covered with seaweed. The resort was quiet with plenty of sun loungers available. Food was plentiful and very tasty; covering all areas of the globe. The App was unusable, for me anyway, but the concierge staff were helpful and could book into restaurants and services. The mini fridge was under stocked but could be refilled on request - we had 2 soft drinks and 2 beers each day for a family of 4. Pools were also quiet and clean and there is a trolley / golf cart service providing links to all areas of the resort. Despite the disappointment with the sea, overall the resort was good and we would recommend it for other families.

This was our first time here and it was an incredible stay! We would recommend this to any family who wants to vacation but also has kids and want them to have fun. The rooms are cleaned everyday and a courteous of drinks available at your room everyday. I will miss you Bahia príncipe Tulum!

The worst place I have ever stayed. A Holiday inn in California is 10 times better. A total waste of money

Very disappointed with our stay. This resort did not meet the expectations of an all-inclusive vacation. The front desk and management were not accommodating and constantly tried to nickel-and-dime guests. Our A/C didn’t work, and we were told we could move rooms only if we paid extra. We requested two queen beds but were only offered two doubles or one king. The room had ants in the bed, the bathroom was extremely small, and there was little to no privacy because the shower/changing area faced a stairwell window. The pool was always dirty. The beach was unusable due to excessive seaweed and a horrible smell, which was never disclosed before our trip. The food was mediocre, and the “all-inclusive” package was misleading. We could only dine at two specialty restaurants; after that, additional visits cost extra, leaving the buffet as the only free option. There were no comfortable indoor, air-conditioned areas to escape the heat besides our room. Even the lobby and restaurants were hot. While a few staff members were pleasant, most were rude. The only time we experienced good customer service was when someone was trying to sell us something. Overall, poor hospitality, extra charges, cleanliness issues, and misleading advertising made this a vacation we would not recommend.
