Lotus: Clean rooms. Front desk is very informative. Taxi service is usually readily available right outside Lotus. They also have their own golf carts to rent. Spa treatment was great. Guru restaurant food at lotus was great (two plates we ordered ceviche and the black angus burger with truffle fries - best truffle fries I’ve had anywhere, ask for the habanero hot sauce it’s delicious) although they close the beach access from lotus relatively early in the evening you still have access to it through the outside, exiting Lotus. (Public access) Lotus staff can also help you book excursions, ask them about them. Prices vary around the island but not by much so it’s convenient to just do it where you already are staying.
Getting there: If you have luggage I suggest get a taxi there from the ferry, should be around 50-100 pesos. Another option is to get someone to wheel your luggage for you and they work for tip.

Fantastic stay at the lotus beach hotel. Staff was very helpful and breakfast was delicious! Snorkeling right is the beach coast was a nice bonus. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants!!

We stayed in one of the rooms with a plunge pool. It was fantastic! We had a great view of the beach and ocean. The bed was comfy and the room was well situated. The hotel is located right on Playa Norte across from another resort. The ocean is so blue and beautiful and there were a lot of fish that would swim near you. The staff was very professional and friendly, especially Alexander. We would definitely stay here again.

The room, the plunge pool, the view, the beach, the staff. Amazing place to stay. Great advice on places to go and it was near everything.

Quetzal was an amazing concierge. However this hotel for how really really expensive it is needs a lot of work. I hav my feedback to him.

Bene The hospitality was great. I would say the rooms are not worth what they’re sold at. Nothing against the folks at the hotel but I can tell ownership is looking for little investment with maximum return. No wow factor what so ever
