I found Zora's Sojourn (ZS) while looking for interesting, eclectic, budget-friendly and locally-owned lodging for my friend and I for a girls' weekend. ZS supassed all of our expectations, which were already high after reading the reviews. The room was pristine with a charming minimalist aesthetic and all of the accommodations and amenities we needed. We were especially appreciative of the comfortable beds, powerful air conditioning unit, and bottled waters in the mini-fridge after a day of walking downtown! The owners were so helpful answering our questions during check in and recommended local eateries for our stay. The property's connection to author Zora Neale Hurston is fascinating. We will definitely be rebooking and highly recommend to anyone looking for lodging in the St Augustine area.

Small, boutique property well cared for by owners who have restored it to be in line with its interesting history. Super easy check-in and checkout and close to the historic downtown.

The room was very clean, Looks like a recent remodel. It was cool the night we stayed, so I can’t comment on the A/C, but it is a wall mounted window unit.

Nice place, clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, great taste. Complementary water and coffee are a plus. I can rate the breakfast since there was none. It was a very cold night and the little heater wasn’t enough to warm the room, but other than that everything was great.

Room was clean, great location but no sidewalks. Was expecting to be able to walk downtown but overall experience, it was awesome.

Great location, great room. The locks were a little tricky! Parking was dicey!! We were parked next to another guest driving a Honda CRV. Unfortunately, the was a big RAM 2500 Series pickup parked behind us. After about 5 minutes of maneuvering, we barely made it out of there. It was pretty frustrating!!!
