The "blackout" blinds did not black out anything in the bedroom, not able to sleep. The noise from the street below also made it impossible to sleep. It appears they have since removed these promises from their listing. They still refused to give me a refund, even though their Orbitz listing falsely claimed blackout blinds and a noise free apartment.

Fantastico Perfect location , last house on the end of rainbow road. Lovely spacious apartment with all things you’d need for a comfortable stay. Only issue was we had the penthouse which had amazing views of both the mountains and up rainbow road to the church but that did include a few flights of spiral stairs which was more an issue on the first and last day with a big suitcase. Felt safe & wasn’t too loud with the road noise.

The Ava apartments are ideally located for walking exploration around Reykjavik. We had a short challenge getting the access code to work and arrived before the cleaner was finished but it wasn’t a long wait. The street noise can be heard but just being in Reykjavik was such a treat.

Great apartment in a great area! Very well appointed furniture wise, but the actual building could us a bit of TLC. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked.
