Lovely view and proximity to park. Beds comfy.

Overall, we had a nice stay. However, for 2 nights in a row, I needed to go to the reception at 11pm because the music on the terrace was too loud (our room was on the 11th floor). They did lowered it down, but it took a good 5-10 min before someone does it. We took the breakfast twice, because it was convenient, but its too expensive for what it is. The room was clean, but once they forgot to refill the toilet paper and only put decaf coffee pods... Overall a nice stay, but they can improve a few things.

Terrible customer service. Staff was aloof, condescending, abrupt, and went out of their way to ensure you knew that they did not care. I asked if there was anyone that could help me with getting luggage upstairs and the answer was a flat “no”. The elevators are tiny so it took multiple trips after an 11 hour flight to get our things to our room. Our room was not ready on time and we waited until 4:30pm for one of the rooms and there wasn’t even an apology or offer to at least get us some drinks and make us a little comfortable while we waited. My children fell asleep on random sofas in the lobby and coffee bar, and they didn’t even bother telling us when the room did become ready. I had to keep walking over the front desk to check with them. Asking simple questions prompted answers like, “I gave that to you at check in” and when I asked if it was okay to drink the tap water the answer was, “well I’ve been drinking it all my life and I’m still alive”. A simple yes would have sufficed. The hotel itself is lovely with a beautiful aesthetic. But it doesn’t not make up for the crappy attitude and service. Breakfast was a good value given that it was included in room rate. So if you are okay with rude service to the point where your children even ask you, “why are they so rude”, then book at your own risk. Considering how much we paid for two rooms to accommodate a family of 4, I’m sure there are far better choices in Amsterdam.

Hotel is gorgeous and staff were friendly. The dining options in and around the hotel are also great. In a neighborhood that is approximately a 20-30 minute walk from the city center and that seems to be going through some updates.

Clean spacious room, would be nice to add some chairs. Since the sofa was turned into a bed in our room, we had no space to sit other than the beds. Good location, soundproofing for the rooms

I stayed at a top floor corner room. The room was at first glance, was spectacular. But gradually I noticed problems. Huge room, but no desk to work. Bathroom had large wall mounted bottles, but the body wash one was empty upon check in. There was a loud intermittent buzzing sound in my room like a drill or a pump was cycling on every few minutes. It was a mechanical sound, but I wasn't near the elevators. It wasn't an alarm clock from the next room. It was so loud I could still hear it with ear plugs. I mentioned it to the lobby, and no apologies, just simply that similar noise had been reported by guests in OTHER rooms on OTHER floors.

The floor to ceiling windows gave a great view of Amsterdam. Very tastefully decorated and very functional. Great shower!

Hotel V Oosterpark was amazing! We visited from Houston, TX! We had the room on the 10th floor with the bathtub and the view of the trees and park were breathtaking! We loved everything and can’t wait to be back!

Great place, visited for business and rooms and feel of the property were great
